Edward W. "Ted" Anthon
April 20, 1912-February 22, 2001

Mr. Ted Anthon faithfully attended every home game since the inception of the Lady Knights basketball in 1978. He attended practice at least twice a week, usually more often, and over the years encouraged hundreds of players with his humor, wisdom and friendship.

Though Mr. Anthon is gone, he will forever be a part of the rich tradition of the Wenatchee Valley College Lady Knights. He was an avid supporter and stalwart fan, but even more importantly, Mr. Anthon was a true gentleman who brought a warm smile and a touch of friendship that influenced many lives. He was a genuine compassionate man who affected our student-athletes. His generosity, empathy and his concern for WVC student-athletes will never ever be forgotten. He is deeply missed.

"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same." - Flavia Weedin
